Hi, I’m Cary an art enthusiast, graphic novel fan, and animal lover.

A portrait of myself smiling facing the camera in a white floral shirt with two artworks of mine behind me.

I am a UX designer with a passion for accessibility and design justice. I have a sharp eye for composition and design and through teaching specifically, I learned that close listening, empathy, and investment in people's progress are invaluable. As a result, I entered UX to use my skills of problem-solving, critiquing, and ideation to help on a greater scale.

Thinking about people, especially those whose background, learning ability, and/or culture differ much from my own, has led me to focus on accessibility and inclusion. My favorite UX quote is "Solve for one, extend to many, " which I aim to do in every project.

Want to know more about me?

I have a BFA and MFA as well as a certificate from General Assembly in UX (forthcoming)

I’m also co-director of Project Gallery V, an inclusive virtual platform committed to supporting emerging artists.
